Judith Tabberner
Early Childhood Development and Child Development

Judith Tabberner who is an Anthropological Nurse, working in a Waldorf School near Durban. She is trained in England in a small-anthropological Hospital. She now works with teachers in helping them-to better understand how education can support the development of the child in best way.

Shelani van Niekerk
Youth Program

Shelani van Niekerk is a speech coach, professionally trained actor, drama teacher, and embodied wellness practitioner whose work bridges theatre, human development and conscious communication. With a background in Waldorf High School drama and rooted in a living relationship with Anthroposophy, she brings a deep interest in the awakening of the ‘I,’ and soul development. Through artistic, embodied facilitation, she guides young people and adults in cultivating courage and authentic leadership; contributing to the unfolding and evolving culture on the African continent. Would like to bring in a foundation of Anthroposophy and make sure it really helps the youth engage with it in a deeper way.

Trevor Button was born in Zimbabwe, lived in Bechuanaland/Botswana, SA and Germany. Works as architect, artist and teacher. Has 47 years of study and practice of Anthroposophy.

Trymore Samkange
Bio-dynamic Farming

Trymore Samukange is a passionate biodynamic practitioner based at Kufunda Village Waldorf, with over 10 years of experience working closely with the land, animals, nature, and communities. Since 2019, he has been actively practicing biodynamic farming, promoting sustainable agriculture and ecological stewardship through hands-on community engagement and practical learning. He works with school children at Kufunda Village Waldorf School and is part of the Youth Hub facilitators, helping to inspire a deeper connection to nature, community learning, and regenerative farming practices.

Trymore completed a 10-module biodynamic training program in Mozambique and earned his Biodynamic Diploma in 2021. He has also participated in Training of Trainers workshops in Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia, strengthening his capacity to mentor and work alongside farming communities across the region. His work focuses on empowering communities through biodynamic agriculture, knowledge sharing, and sustainable living practices.

Stacieva is a third year medical student,project coordinator, and youth spiritual leader of the Anthroposophic community in Africa. With a passion for blending clinical knowledge, cultural heritage, and soulful empowerment, Stacieva guides youth and communities through health education, branding, and creative expression known for visionary leadership and poetic communication, Stacieva bridges African traditions with global perspectives, creating spaces of dignity, equity and healing.

Stephen Diwauripo

The Art of Participatory Leadership

Stephen Diwauripo is a seasoned facilitator with a wealth of experience across various programs. As a trained Art of Hosting facilitator, he has co-hosted numerous trainings at Kufunda Learning Village in Harare and other communities, including Denmark, Namibia and Sweden in 2015. Stephen is a Go Deep game facilitator, having led many sessions in Chiriseri, Epworth, Arcturus, and Chiyadzwa. Furthermore, Stephen is an Oasis Game facilitator, trained in Brazil, and has hosted several Oasis Games in Zimbabwe. His commitment to healing through storytelling is evident in his role as a Tree of Life facilitator. Additionally, Stephen is a Warriors of the Heart practitioner, having hosted multiple Practice for Peace Dojos in Zimbabwe and Denmark. Beyond his facilitation skills, Stephen is also an eco-builder who enjoys singing and dancing.

Janet Manoni is a founding member and Secretary General in Anthroposophical community in Africa (ACiA), Core Group Member of All- Africa Anthroposophical Training (AAAT). Founder of Mwanangu Development Tanzania and Mama na Mwana Foundation - supporting vulnerable children’s Health and Education. A Waldorf teacher in Kindergarted and children with Special Needs. Director of Child Help International - supporting children with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus in the global South. A Mandela Washington Fellowship Member - YALI - Cohort 2016.

Dr. Michaela Glöckler, pediatrician, is Co-founder of the Alliance for Childhood and the European Alliance of Initiatives for applied Anthroposophy/ELIANT. She worked in the pediatric department of the Community Hospital in Herdecke  and served as school doctor for the Rudolf Steiner School in Witten/ Germany. From 1988-2016 she took on the leadership of the Medical Section of the Goetheanum/Switzerland. Publications in English: ‘’Education for the Future’’, ‘’Guide to Child Health’’, ‘’The Dignity of the young child’’, ‘’Ethical Considerations in Medicine’’, ‘’Developmental Insights’’, Truth, Beauty and Goodness. The Future of Education, Healing Arts and Health Care“.

Cobie Roelvert
Eurythmy/Listening Practitioner’s Circles

Cobie Roelvert lives and works in Cape Town where she has been a eurythmy teacher, lecturer and mentor for many years. She has enjoyed working with children in the 3 to 13 age group and have taught adult classes and held workshops on a variety of themes.

She has led the community eurythmy sessions at the AAAT since 2017 and has co-hosted a workshop on Child Development with other faculty members.

Tiyamike who is an ECD practitioner, In Malawi Zomba has worked with 3 schools and 2 CBCC's in Malawi offering ECD training to their teachers. She is Currently in partnership with Nursery schools to help teach parents, guardians and teachers  how to Play and teach kids living with Disabilities.

Timothy Apps is a seasoned Leadership Coach and Transformation Expert. His approach draws on the expertise within a company, supplement it with their own ideas, and thus move swiftly from analysis to implementation.
Key Areas:

  1. Leadership: Working with and within organisations to encourage people to take personal responsibility. This also involves focusing on their own development as a leader.

  2. Team and Team Development: Development towards self-managing teams. Building psychological safety, fostering a culture of learning and working toward a common goal.

  3. Transforming organisations to focus on processes (process-oriented organisation) and, consequently, on value creation, clarity of roles and responsibilities. Executive Coaching.
